Varex Wireless Flat Panel Detector

The PaxScan 4336W and PaxScan 2530W from Varex Imaging.  The lightweight, cassette-sized, portable 43cm x 36cm detector is optimized for dose efficiency and very low electronic noise.  Even while the panel is inside a cassette tray, or below the X-ray table, the wireless transmission rates stay consistently high. The space-efficient 25cm x 30cm portable radiographic panel is designed with special imaging modes for use in imaging extremities and is compatible for neonatal procedures as well as mid-size radiographic applications such as dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and ear, nose and throat (ENT) procedures. The 2530W panel has extended battery life and is interchangeable with the 4336W detector battery.  Both panels offer high digital image quality along with higher throughput, significant workflow efficiencies, and the potential to enhance patient care and comfort for an improved experience.

The 4336W v4 embeds the M-series Varian Smart Panel (VSP) software
within the receptor. Developers interface with the receptor through VSP
COMM which resides on the workstation. The integrator experience
is simplifi ed through the new M-series software interface. An onboard
Control Panel is used to manage receptor settings and confi guration. The
ViVA™ sample imaging application is included. VSP COMM is
Windows® 7 (64 bit) or Windows 8.1 (64-bit) compatible.
